Tithing: Building a Heritage Together

Tithing is more than giving money—it is an act of worship, obedience, and trust in God. Scripture teaches us to honor the Lord with what He has entrusted to us: “Honor the LORD with your possessions, and with the firstfruits of all your increase” (Proverbs 3:9). From the beginning, God has called His people to faithfully give back a portion of what He provides. In Malachi 3:10, God challenges His people to bring the whole tithe into His storehouse and trust Him to provide. Jesus also affirmed the importance of faithful giving, reminding us that our generosity should flow from a heart devoted to God (Matthew 23:23). The New Testament encourages us to give willingly, cheerfully, and according to what God has blessed us with: “God loves a cheerful giver” (2 Corinthians 9:7). When we tithe, we are declaring that everything we have ultimately belongs to God, and we are trusting Him to use our obedience to advance His Kingdom.

At Christian Heritage Church, we believe that what we build today can impact generations to come. Building a Heritage Together is our commitment to faithfully pursue the mission God has given us while preparing a foundation for those who will come after us. Through our yearly goals, we seek to grow spiritually, strengthen our church family, reach our community, and develop ministries that help people experience life-changing miracles through Jesus Christ.

Your faithful giving makes these goals possible. Through your tithes and offerings, you help provide for the ministry of the church, support evangelism and community outreach, disciple believers, develop leaders, care for children and youth, and maintain and improve the facilities God has entrusted to us.

There are also opportunities to give specifically toward ministries and projects that are important to the future of Christian Heritage Church. Whether you choose to support CH Kidz, Our Youth Ministry, Missions, our future building projects, or other ministry initiatives, your generosity becomes part of something bigger than any one person.

We are not simply giving to a church—we are investing in people, advancing the Kingdom of God, and building a heritage together.
